Alpine Hills Adventure Park features a snow park, public trails for mountain biking, hiking, and running, and is host to one of the Rockford Park District's most popular camps, Nature Quest.

The land for Alpine Hills Adventure Park was donated to the Rockford Park District Foundation by the Hansberger family back in 2011.
